On August 19th, 2019, Lomachenko defeated Luke Campbell and won the vacant WBC title. Just two weeks later, Devin Haney defeated Zaur Abdullaev and won the WBC interim title, thus becoming the WBC mandatory challenger. And now, after a long journey of navigating out side the ring, these 2 face off in “Checkmate”.
